The comedy is back, as much with the same derpy wolves, and Yuuki is the same airheaded self with Kokkoro having the exact same 0x0 face. Meeting this senile old man who's once a guild adventurer to help them reach to their destination, but rather, releases Shadow monsters of his former partners which reunite in spirit. More than facing an onslaught of furball monsters, eating their poisonous meat is a no-no, but induces comedy. The quest in an underwater coral forest where it's all fun and getting lost, Karyl freaks out on anything and everything unless she gets what she wants. Kokkoro being the same of requesting quests from Karin at the Guild Association, and Karyl has no choice but to follow them along to get more ingredients and create more food. It's great to see the Gourmet Edifice Guild again (as is with the Little Lyrical guild), and Pecorine teasing Karyl is still the same.
The only difference this time is with newbie director Yasuo Iwamoto, whom thankfully KonoSuba diector Takaomi Kanasaki is helping to supervise. YABAI DESU NE!!! PriConne is back, and so is the unchanged OP.
